If you're free this coming Saturday afternoon and want to have a lot of puzzle fun, I wholeheartedly recommend signing up for Lollapuzzoola, an online (this year) puzzle tournament of epic proportions. Their 2020 constructing roster is stacked with puzzle legends (including my best pals Brooke Husic and Sid Sivakumar), and it should be an absolute blast
As for this 11x, I seeded with 20-Across ('tis the season) and had a lot of fun from there. If you're learning at least one new thing at the 24-Across/22-Down cross, please feel good about looking up either! They're both crossworthy, in my book, and I'm happy to include them in this puzzle, even if it might make for a tricky crossing.
