Puzzle No. 35: "Choosing Sides"

This year, I'm especially thankful for the crossword community, which has been the source of a lot of happiness and encouragement in an otherwise strange, at-times-discouraging year. Among other things, I'll remember 2020 for the friends I made through puzzles, the amazing folks I've gotten to collaborate with and learn from, and all of you who so kindly solve the puzzles on this site.

I'd also be remiss if I didn't hype my most recent USA Today crossword collab with Brooke Husic, which dropped yesterday! It's called "It's Magic," and, well ... it is magic! Brooke's also got a new themeless on her site today. It doesn't have a name, but it's certifiably magic as well 🧙🏻
